The Wauchope Patchwork Group began more than ten years ago, when a group of students completed a series of classes with Robin Gartner and wished to continue their craft and friendship. It has grown to approximately 60 members, who meet weekly, from Wauchope and surrounding areas.

The Group's Biennial Quilt Show was held in April 2011 at the Wauchope Showground. It is was a wonderful event with light refreshments and a sales table of members work, as well as a range of stall holders.

The Group made 2 quilts (one single bed and one queen bed size) which were raffled, with the proceeds going to the Wauchope Heated Pool Committee and also to fund the charity work done by the Group.

New members are always welcome and beginners shown the basics which are really very simple and easily mastered.
