Welcome to Wauchope Arts

Welcome to our home on the web. This is where you find out what’s happening at Wauchope Arts as well as other community arts news. This site provides an information service to our members and anyone who is interested in attending or getting involved in the events and activities offered by the Wauchope Community Arts Council. We are a group of passionate volunteers who value the role of the arts in community building and we aim to provide diverse cultural experiences for Wauchope and beyond.

The Wauchope Community Arts Hall is just that - community. It is one of the most intimate venues in the Hastings that attracts acts of extraordinary quality and it feels as if they are playing in your lounge room with a bunch of your best friends.

:Nick and Liesl
Nick and Liesl
Stylistically Aussie-Swedish duo Nick and Liesl cover quite a range; from stripped-back and intimate folk to alternative, pop and soul; but the voices and the harmonies remain throughout, making their sound instantly recognisable.
2011saw them tour Australia and Europe with their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Feather’. Only days after returning from overseas they wowed crowds at the 2011/2012 Woodford Folk Festival.
It iseasy to connect with their light sounds of guitar and piano blended with thoughtful and poetic lyrics.
